Training: Search Engine Marketing

Overview: At least 85 percent of users find new web sites through search engines.  Search engines are responsible for driving a predominant amount of targeted traffic to web sites that show up in the top listings for user searches.  Users typically view only the first 10 to 30 listings.  It is imperative then to take action to show up at the top of the listings for particular "keywords" by designing a "Search Engine Optimization" strategy that puts your site at the top of the listings.  This course explains the world of search engines, site submission, and specific search engine marketing strategies to help you drive more targeted traffic to your site.

Length: Three hours - 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Prerequisite: Experience with web browsers and Microsoft Windows.
